Running away for the Day






Imagine having a day where you can just run away and be as carefree as a ten year old on summer vacation. You make your bed and wash up the breakfast dishes, then lock the door behind you. A day to yourself, away from the responsibilities, worries and your never ending to do list. You take a book, a bottle of water and a healthy snack and away you go to your favourite place to be a kid again.  A no stress zone where life is simple and filled with happy thoughts.
 
 You run, you laugh, and notice how free you feel. You lay on the grass and look up at the sky watching the clouds go by... when was the last time you did that?  You walk along the beach that has always been there but you forgot to take the time to  go there and really listen to the waves. The sound is soothing and so you sit and eat your banana and sip your water. Life is good again. You reconnected with yourself and  realize that you have to take the time to run away more often.  The question is... will you allow yourself to do it. Life is short and fragile, take time to enjoy some of the time on your own happiness. You will live a better life  by doing practicing moments of joy.




If you are waiting for anything in order to live and love without holding back, then you suffer. Every moment is the most important moment of your life. No future time is better than now to let down your guard and love. David Deida
